The versatility of Brass Roti Tawa transcends regions, uniting the essence of Indian cuisine. Whether you're making healthy millet roti, crispy paratha, or a delicious hot, fluffy roti, the Brass Roti Tawa makes it easy to make!

Handcrafted in pure Brass with a golden finish, the Brass Roti Tawa makes cooking a healthy and memorable experience while keeping the nutritional values intact. Moreover, the tawa's convenient size makes cooking easy while simultaneously regulating heat uniformly due to the excellent heat conductivity of Brass as a metal.

Why should you buy it?

  • Size and Finish: The convenient sizing and the hammered finish of the tawa make the cooking easy.

  • Heat Conductivity: Brass is a great conductor of heat, helping distribute heat across the surface, resulting in lesser gas consumption. Moreover, it reduces the risk of hot spots leading to unevenly cooked food.

  • Nutrient Retention: Brass helps retain the natural nutrients in food, thus ensuring the retention of essential vitamins, minerals, and many other nutrients.

  • Non-Toxic: Brass is non-toxic, making it safe for cooking and storage. Unlike Teflon-coated products, brass does not leach harmful chemicals into food.

  • Aesthetic Appeal: With a meticulously hammered finish, a beautiful golden look on the outside (handcrafted in pure Brass) along with the traditional shimmer of authentic Brass, the Brass Roti Tawa not only enhances the overall kitchen aesthetic but also adds a touch of cultural appeal to your dining experience as a whole.

Note: The shine of the product might tarnish after a single use. Since it is a utility product, it will cook faster and more evenly once heated.

1. Why is it not tin-coated?

Making chappatis and other flatbreads on our Brass Tawa is safe without any tin coating.

2. What is the best way to clean Brass and Copper utensils?

You can use a normal dishwashing soap to clean the utensils from the inside and Pitambari or a paste made from Flour (Atta), Vinegar/lemon Juice, and salt can be applied on the outside to retain the shine of the utensils.

3. What if the Roti Tawa gets darkened after some time?

Since the Roti Tawa is made from 100% pure Brass metal, it requires a medium flame to cook the rotis. If you see any black residue on your tawa, this might be because of the high flame. It can be easily cleaned with Pitambari!

1. We saw our Thatheras using brass tawas in their houses. But, we didn't quite realise the market potential of this product at that time. However, we love the response and the increasing requirement of a lot of our customers for the Roti Tawa.

2. Since brass and copper are good conductors of heat, cook food on medium to low flame. This would also help you to save gas. They are an intelligent step towards sustainability.
